THEGAYUK have also launched an online campaign to raise funds to purchase the bull and transport him from Ireland to Britain and help with the lifelong cost of keeping Benjy at the animal sanctuary.John Carmody said that Benjy’s plight is not only hitting the hearts of Irish people, but people worldwide and he has spoken to media sources from far and wide including RTE Radio One and Russia Today about the campaign.“I can’t believe how international this has gone,” said Mr Carmody.ARAN program co-ordinator Jackie Fitzgerald said that Benjy’s plight had touched hearts across the globe.“Like every other animal, Benjy should be to be free of death, pain and suffering. Warren Haynes is back on the road with Gov’t Mule and bringing Blackberry Smoke with him, for what they call a “Smokin’ Mule” tour. On Friday, Mule welcomed Charlie Starr and Brandon Still for a 19-minute version of Neil Young’s classic “Cortez The Killer” in Asbury Park. Laney made a charge and got up alongside Dennis a few times but couldn’t quite get the pass completed.A couple cautions slowed the field, but each time it was Dennis, Laney and Monson at the front.At the checkered flag it was Dennis picking up the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot-qualifying win. Laney finished second with Monson third, Richie Gustin fourth and Kelly Shryock fifth.One hundred and eighteen cars overflowed the pits for the 20th annual event.Sixth-starting Mike Nichols charged into the lead on lap two and drove to a convincing IMCA Sunoco Stock Car win ahead of Bryan Snell and Brandon Pruitt.Eric Stanton led start to finish in the IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock feature. Woodrow Smith, age 79 of New Trenton, Indiana passed away Friday, April 26, 2019 in Harrison, Ohio. Born in Ogle Creek, Kentucky the son of Rev. Gayle and Hazel (Swafford) Smith.Woodrow married Nadine Broughton on December 24, 1960 in Barbourville, Kentucky. Worked as a Union carpenter for many years. Member of Smyrna Baptist Church New Trenton, Indiana.Woodrow is survived by his wife Nadine Smith of New Trenton, Indiana. Father of Sondra Smith, Danny Smith and Darrell Smith. Papaw of Stephanie, Devon, Garrett, Cameron, Morgan and Courtney. Great grandpa of Lillie, Colt and Brielle. Brother of Cloyd and Ruby Smith.Preceded in death by his parents Rev.
