first_imgChelsea found themselves a goal down and a man down at the end of an action-packed first half at Upton Park.West Ham took the lead on 17 minutes when former QPR loanee Mauro Zarate beat Blues keeper Asmir Begovic at his near post after Diego Costa had fluffed his attempted clearance at a corner.Chelsea thought they had an equaliser when Kurt Zouma met Cesc Fabregas’ corner but goalline technology showed a slither of the ball was on the line when West Ham hacked it clear.The hosts launched an immediate counter-attack, which was ended by Matic’s cynical foul that earned him a yellow card – and was to contribute to his dismissal late in the half.Before then, Manuel Lanzini squandered a glorious chance to make it 2-0, dinking the ball over the bar when set clear by Dmitri Payet’s flick.And Chelsea were furious when Cesc Fabregas was flagged offside when through on goal, with replays showing he was level.But that was nothing compared to the explosive end to the half, when Matic blocked the run of Diafra Sakho on the touchline – and after consultation with his assistant, referee Jon Moss produced a second yellow card.Blues skipper John Terry led a mass protest and was booked, along with Cesc Fabregas, while Chelsea coach Silvino Louro was sent to the stands.West Ham: Adrian; Jenkinson, Tomkins, Collins, Cresswell; Kouyate, Noble; Lanzini, Payet, Zarate; Sakho. He announced that the University (Syracuse) had struck a deal with Dell computer and was going to refit the entire campus, including all student computers, with Dell equipment. As he looked over the lecture hall he saw at least 100 glowing Apple icons staring back at him. Some students responded so strongly that they were ready to move to another school simply because their favorite computer brand was no longer supported at the school.
