The solon has also called for an independent investigation to be conducted by the Philippine National Police (PNP) and National Bureau of Investigation on the incident and not just by the PMA. Cagayan de Oro 2nd District Rep. The PNP said that it was already considering as suspects the three third class cadets who were earlier identified as persons of interest in the death of Dormitorio./PN “The difference will be first they will not be eligible for good conduct time allowance. They will have to serve the entire life imprisonment that will be meted to them. Because it seems the new law last year did not deter people like in the case of the PMA,” he added. The parents of slain law freshman Horacio Castillo III over the weekend urged lawmakers to make hazing a heinous crime. “There is a possibility we will elevatethis into a heinous crime. Although right now the penalty already is reclusionperpetua plus a P3-million fine in case death occurs,” Rodriguez said in aninterview with ABS CBN News Channel. Rodriguez further said: “there is command responsibility here. A young person who wishes to become a military officer and do good service to the country. Press Association United have more silverware in their trophy cabinet, but City have had the better of their local rivals during the last couple of years. Last November’s 1-0 victory at the Etihad Stadium was the fourth successive derby win for City. The last time they achieved that feat was 60 years ago. Finishing above City would represent a major coup for manager Louis van Gaal, especially after the way his team started the season. But, wary of the fact that seven matches remain, Young is not letting himself get too carried away despite United’s recent upturn in form. “It would be nice (to finish above City) but we are just taking each game as it comes,” the 29-year-old said. “It is obviously going to be another tough one against City next week but we will prepare as well as we can do as we always do.” Young’s form has been key to United’s recovery. The former Aston Villa midfielder has been so good recently that he has kept record signing Angel di Maria out of the United team. That has not been enough to get him back into the England squad though. Many tipped Young to earn an England recall after 19 months in the wilderness, but manager Roy Hodgson left him out of his squad to face Lithuania and Italy. Young revealed Hodgson did not call him to explain his absence from the 24-man party when it was announced. “There was no conversation (with Hodgson),” said Young, whose last England cap came against Ukraine in September 2013. “Obviously I will always want to represent my country. I was a little bit disappointed not to be in the squad, but I have just got to make sure I am playing well here at United and hopefully I will get the call at some time soon.” Ashley Young is desperate to avoid being part of the first United team to lose five successive Manchester derbies. United have never lost five straight matches to their local rivals and Young wants to end City’s dominance this weekend when the Blues come to Old Trafford. “That’s something you want to put right,” the United winger said when asked about City’s recent dominance in this fixture. “It will be another massive game.” Despite City’s recent success in derbies, United go into the match as favourites after registering five straight league wins. That run has helped United move into third, one point ahead of City, who slipped to their third defeat in five games at Crystal Palace on Monday. Young thinks United have a good chance of defeating the Barclays Premier League champions if they maintain their current form. He said: “We know it will be tough but as long as we can play the way we have shown, especially in the last few games, and add to that, it’s going to be a great game and hopefully we will get the three points. “We want to keep the momentum going and the positive play.”

It was added on purpose to help make a point that many other people have made and continue to make: that the Blackmagic Cinema Camera was tracking really well against the Canon 5D Mark III two years ago… and in some peoples minds, it was surpassing it.Since then, it’s widely known by many in the industry that Canon has done much less innovating compared to Blackmagic Design. Nino Leitner recently pointed this fact out in his article at cinema5D when talking about the fall of DSLR video. In recent times, it seems that Canon decided to stop innovation in video features in DSLRs, while others like Blackmagic and particularly Sony are now capitalizing in Canon’s weakness in that sector, who have decided to focus all their pro video efforts into their more expensive (yet very successful) Cinema line.By the NumbersNow, it’s not just Nino saying this. On a larger scale, industry insiders have been predicting the fall of DSLR and Canon for nearly two to three years. Some point to smart phones as their ultimate undoing, while others point to mirrorless cameras. Seeing this trend, Blackmagic has done some heavy tech advancement in the last several years in terms of cinema cameras. Canon hasn’t exactly followed suit.Let’s breakdown the numbers and see why people have these opinions. We’ll compare four cameras, two from each manufacturer. For Blackmagic, we’ll look at the widely used Cinema Camera and the soon-to-be-released URSA Mini 4.6K. For Canon, we’ll look at the workhorse 5D Mark III and Canon’s big cinema camera, the C500 4K. 2.5k Sensor*Super 35mmSuper 35mmSuper 35mm 2400 x 1350 pixels1920 x 1080 pixels4608 x 2592 pixels4096 x 2160 pixels 23.98, 24, 25,29.97 & 3023.98, 24, 25,29.97 & 3023.98, 24, 25, 29.97,30, 50, 59.94 & 60 fps23.98, 24, 25, 29.97,30, 50, 59.94 & 60 fps $1995$2499$4995$15,999 Let’s take an in-depth look at whether or not Blackmagic Design has positioned itself to become what Canon used to be.We love head-to-head battles and we like choosing sides. It’s just in our nature. So naturally, as filmmakers and videographers, we dig our heels in when talking about a specific camera brands that we love. We know and understand that many of you will have fairly sharp opinions on what is about to be said.Just know that I’m approaching this op-ed from an unbiased standpoint. As a past camera operator and current director, I’ve used both brands of camera with great success. But the question still remains: has Blackmagic positioned themselves to be a better camera option than Canon at this point? Is Blackmagic Already Better Than Canon?Let’s get things started with this video from OneRiver Media, where we see a head-to-head comparison between the Blackmagic Cinema Camera and the Canon 5D Mark III.Here’s another image comparison, but this time cinema5D compares the quality of the images shot in RAW. The cameras used in this video are the Blackmagic Cinema Camera and the Canon 5D Mark III. 13 stops**11 stops**15 Stops**12 Stops** *2.5K sensor is slightly bigger than Super 16.**Measurement of Dynamic Range.More Than NumbersWith the numbers above, we can see that Blackmagic’s line of cameras has a slight advantage over the Canon line of cameras. But numbers aren’t everything. Let’s break down a few other things that I know are on the minds of cinematographers and directors.Image from No Film SchoolUsability is KeyThere are two types of usability: interface usability and form factor usability. On the interface front, the Blackmagic camera has a very broken down simplistic design, while the Canon gives you more flexibility.Image from Slim LarnaoutPower Isn’t Always EasyEvery time I’ve used a BMCC, I’ve had to use a V-Mount battery because the camera works off of an internal battery. This internal battery lasts around 90 minutes when filming straight through and it takes a considerable amount of time to recharge. Canon batteries last about as long and take about as long to charge, but they aren’t internal. So you can stock up on batteries and be shooting all day long.Again, with the URSA Mini you would need to either use an AC adapter to power the camera or utilize the backplate to mount a V-Mount battery, which you would probably want to do anyway for the URSA and the C500.Image from Below the Line NewsStorage Can Be PriceyIn terms of storage, Blackmagic uses some interesting solutions when compared to Canon. The BMCC uses SSD cards, which run around $130. Canon’s 5D Mark III and C500 can both utilize CF and SD cards, while the URSA Mini runs CFast 2.0 cards that will run you around $500.Image from Blackmagic DesignWeight and BalanceWhile not an issue for some, weight can be a big deal for some videographers and filmmakers. The Canon 5D Mark III sits at nearly 2lbs, while the BMCC rests at double that. The URSA Mini and C500 are pretty equal, each listed at around 5-6lbs. With it being so lightweight, the 5D Mark III is often used on major film sets as a stunt camera. So, Let’s Answer the QuestionNow that we’ve watched the image comparisons and read the specs, can we determine if Blackmagic is better than Canon? My personal feeling is that Blackmagic has really taken that leap to position itself in front of Canon, camera-wise anyway. They are shaking things up the way Canon did years ago. They’ve done a really good job developing cameras that can capture incredibly sharp film-like images. Because of this, directors and cinematographers are taking notice.Director Scott Waugh and Shane Hurlbut, ASC test the Blackmagic Production Camera. Image from Hurlblog. While Canon has developed the new Canon ME20F-SH, it’s not the type of tech development that we were expecting. Other camera manufactures are really pushing camera tech, while Canon seems content to sit back and wait. As they wait, companies like Blackmagic, Sony, and Panasonic have not only upped their tech, but released them at lower price points. For example, you can buy three URSA Mini 4.6k cameras for the price of one C500.I guess the real question we should be asking ourselves is: Can the URSA Mini 4.6k can go toe-to-toe with the likes of RED and ARRI? I would say maybe with RED and a solid no with ARRI. But that’s another discussion. What are your thoughts on the rise of Blackmagic? Also, do you feel that Canon has taken a backseat to other manufacturers? Let us know in the comments below!
All prospects aren’t created equal.EggermanOne company I work with won an account called Eggerman. Over the course of a full year, they billed Eggerman $187. That’s all the money that Eggerman had to spend in their space, and they commanded 100% of Eggerman’s mind share and wallet share.Eggerman showed up in the win column. But Eggerman wasn’t a win. Truth be told, the two sales calls that the salesperson made on Eggerman cost three times as much as the company billed Eggerman. Eggerman was a waste of time and energy.PowerBallThis same group is working on another deal, this one is huge. Let’s call it PowerBall. This company uses an online vendor management system. The vendor management company views everything as a transaction, and it loads vendors into the system. The vendors all blindly bid for jobs. They never get to speak with anyone inside the company. They never get to create any value. They are unknown, and they have 0.0 percent chance of developing a preference for their offerings. But they are approved.PowerBall shows up in the win column. But PowerBall isn’t a win. You have the same chance of realizing the promise of PowerBall as your chances of winning the real PowerBall. Let’s call that 0.0 percent, or something close to it.Move UpstreamEggerman is an example of a company for whom you can create no value. They don’t really spend money in your space, and they don’t have the kinds of problems you can solve. This being true, there is no reason to call on Eggermans.PowerBall is an example of a prospective client where there is no way to profit from having won the business. It doesn’t matter how much money they spend, if you can’t really compete for the business. there is no reason to call on PowerBalls.Right now, look at your pipeline. Delete any “opportunity” that is either an Eggerman or a PowerBall. Liverpool midfielder Fabinho calls out PSG over transfer talkby Paul Vegas9 months agoSend to a friendShare the loveLiverpool midfielder Fabinho has questioned PSG’s long-term interest in him.The Brazil international, who only moved to Liverpool last summer, has again been linked with a move to PSG this season. But Fabinho told L’Equipe: “I never thought of going elsewhere. I know a lot of things went out in the newspapers, but all was not true. “What’s funny is that this PSG loan story came out just before our Champions League game (1-2, November 28, 2018). “And I had already experienced a similar story the day before the final of the Coupe de la Ligue between PSG and Monaco (3-0, March 31, 2018). Dubai: An Iranian-flagged oil tanker pursued by the US amid heightened tensions between Tehran and Washington changed its listed destination to a port in Turkey early Saturday after Greece said it wouldn’t risk its relations with America by aiding it. The crew of the Adrian Darya 1, formerly known as the Grace 1, updated its listed destination in its Automatic Identification System to Mersin, Turkey, a port city in the country’s south and home to an oil terminal. Also Read – Saudi Crown Prince ‘snubbed’ Pak PM, recalled jet from US However, mariners can input any destination into the AIS, so Turkey may not be its true destination. Mersin is some 200 kilometers (125 miles) northwest of a refinery in Baniyas, Syria, where authorities alleged the Adrian Darya had been heading before being seized off Gibraltar in early July. Iranian state media and officials did not immediately acknowledge the new reported destination of the Adrian Darya, which carries 2.1 million barrels of Iranian crude oil worth some 130 million. Nor was there any immediate reaction from Turkey, whose President Recep Tayyip Erdogan deals directly with Tehran and Russia over Syria’s long war. Also Read – Record number of 35 candidates in fray for SL Presidential polls The ship-tracking website MarineTraffic.com showed the Adrian Darya’s position as just south of Sicily in the Mediterranean Sea. At current speeds, it estimated the Adrian Darya would reach Mersin in about a week. The State Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment. The tanker’s detention and later release by Gibraltar has fueled the growing tensions between Iran and the U.S. after President Donald Trump unilaterally withdrew America from Iran’s 2015 nuclear deal with world powers over a year ago. In the time since, Iran lost billions of dollars in business deals allowed by the deal as the US re-imposed and created sanctions largely blocking Tehran from selling crude oil aboard, a crucial source of hard currency for the Islamic Republic. In US federal court documents, authorities allege the Adrian Grace’s true owner is Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, a paramilitary organization answerable only to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The U.S. declared the Guard a foreign terror organization in April, the first time America named a military force of a nation as such, giving it the legal power to issue a warrant for the vessel’s seizure. However, that would require another nation to acknowledge the writ. The Adrian Darya had put its intended destination as Kalamata, Greece, even though the port did not have the infrastructure to offload oil from the tanker. The State Department then pressured Greece not to aid the vessel. Meanwhile, Iran continues to hold the British-flagged oil tanker Stena Impero, which it seized in a commando-style raid July 19 after the taking of the Adrian Darya. Analysts suggested the release of the Adrian Darya would see the Stena Impero let go, but that has yet to happen.
