Woman in serious condition after Waterford fire that injured four firefighters

first_img 1 Comment 17,397 Views A WOMAN IN her 20s is in a serious condition in hospital after a fire in Waterford last night.Gardaí and emergency services were called to the blaze at a residential premises on Wellington St at around 11pm.A woman in her 20s was taken to University Hospital Waterford with serious injuries.Four firefighters were also injured in the blaze and were treated in hospital.Chief fire officer at Waterford City Council Niall Curtin told TheJournal.ie, “Conditions at the incident were difficult. Eleven firefighters attended the scene.
