Kurtenbach: Derek Carr’s egregious turnovers foil Raiders, his cause

first_imgFor the most part, Raiders quarterback Derek Carr was outstanding against the Packers on Sunday. Against a fast and talented defense, he went 22-for-28 for 293 yards, pushed the ball downfield a few times, and put his team deep into Green Bay territory drive after drive.But the Raiders lost 42-24 Sunday, because the more important part was that Carr made two egregious errors in the end zone before being pulled with his team down 25 points halfway through the fourth quarter.Related Articles …last_img
