That point total ranks her No. 1 in the conference, 14th nationally and fourth on the East Qualifying list. Her point total ranks her just outside the Southland’s all-time top five record list in the event. The Huskies have an idle week before competing in Rice’s J. Fred Duckett Twilight on Saturday, April 21, their final meet before the 2018 Southland Conference Championships. McNeese next heads to Monroe, La., for the ULM Invitational on Saturday. Southland weekly award winners are nominated and voted upon by each school’s sports information director. Voting for one’s own athlete is not permitted. To earn honorable mention, a student-athlete must appear on at least 25 percent of ballots.
